1. Hlamba irayisi kunye nedal ngokucokisekileyo emanzini abalekayo. Cwina irayisi kunye nedali emanzini iiyure eziyi-3-4.
2. Ngoku, thatha umpheki woxinzelelo kwaye ungeze i-ghee kuyo. Beka irayisi emanzi kunye ne-dal kuyo. Yongeza umgubo obomvu we-chilli, umgubo we-coriander, umgubo we-turmeric, i-sambar masala, ityuwa kunye ne-asafoetida kumpheki.
3. Emva koko, yongeza itamarind efakwe amanzi kwisipheki. Yongeza iikomityi ezimbini zamanzi uze umxube upheke imizuzu eli-10 de uve iimpempe ezi-3-4.
